Privacy policy.
How we handle personal data on this website, under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
Updated 8 November 2026
1. Who is responsible
Dhara Technology AG, Webermühle 17, 5432 Neuenhof, Switzerland, is responsible for the processing described here. For any question about data protection, write to contact@dharatechnology.com.
2. What we collect, and why
- Visiting the website. Our hosting provider records technical data that every web server needs: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and referring page. This is used to deliver the website, keep it secure and find faults. These logs are kept for a short period set by the hosting provider and then deleted.
- Contact form and email. When you write to us, we process your name, company, email address and message to reply to you and to handle any follow-up.
- Vendor pack requests. We process your name, company, role, company email address, phone number and the documents you ask for, to verify the request and send the documents.
We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Fonts are served from our own website, not from third parties.
3. Legal basis
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Who receives the data
We use service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract:
- Website hosting: GoDaddy (GoDaddy Operating Company, LLC, USA).
- Email: Microsoft 365 (Microsoft).
We do not sell personal data, and we share it with no one else unless the law requires it.
5. Transfers abroad
Our providers may process data in the United States. GoDaddy has certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, its UK extension and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Where a transfer is not covered by such a framework, we use the European Commission's standard contractual clauses with the Swiss addendum.
6. How long we keep data
We keep enquiries and vendor pack requests for as long as we need them to reply and to handle the follow-up, and for no longer than two years unless a business relationship results. Longer retention applies only where the law requires it.
7. Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, or to restrict or object to its processing. Where the GDPR applies, you also have the right to data portability. Write to contact@dharatechnology.com. You may complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, in the EU, to the supervisory authority where you live or work.
8. Security
The website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We protect personal data with technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
